Who We Are
Melita Callahan
Founder, Oracle, Scribe of the Council
For decades, I lived a life divided. A CEO, mother, and community builder by day — and a quiet spiritual seeker by night. Hospice volunteer, ritual keeper, student of death and rebirth. My worlds orbited one another but never quite touched.
Then came the unthinkable. The sudden death of my daughter, Jo’el.
No part of me was prepared for the weight of that grief. All my spiritual tools fell silent. I couldn’t access the light. I couldn’t feel the love. In the depth of that darkness, I surrendered.
And that is when the Council of Light arrived.
At first, the messages came quietly — threads of language woven through tears. Then they grew louder, more insistent, until I could no longer pretend they were mine alone. These were transmissions from a collective beyond me: loving, luminous, guiding presences who spoke to my soul and through my pen. They showed me a path of healing I never knew I needed to walk. And they’ve never stopped.
This body of work — the upcoming Field of Light Oracle Deck, Leading from the Field book, grief rituals, and custom Council transmissions — emerged not from ambition, but from devotion. From surviving the deepest pain and discovering something unbreakable within: the light of love.
My purpose is to share these messages so those experiencing difficulty have a beacon home to love.

Brandyn
Master Glassmaker. Flamekeeper
A lifelong craftsman and world-traveled glass artist, Brandyn brings sacred form to sacred function. His handmade ritual bowls are created in the fire of transformation and are now part of grief rituals and light ceremonies offered through Nova Asha.
As Melita’s son and Jo’el’s brother, Brandyn’s work carries both soul and story. The vessels he shapes are not just beautiful — they’re designed to hold what feels unholdable: our grief, our prayers, our offerings to the unseen.
Jo’el
CEO in Spirit, Keeper of the North Star
Jo’el was a seeker, a challenger of systems, a military intelligence specialist turned heart-centered recruiter. She knew how to see people for who they truly were and matched them with their soul path — in life and, now, in spirit.
Since her transition, Jo’el continues to guide Nova Asha with fierce love and radiant wisdom. She is the voice that says “keep going,” the star we follow when the path grows dim. Her essence is in every word, every card, every ceremony.
